One of our favourite industry events, this year’s awards were hosted online, but we’re looking forward to seeing the finalist’s exhibition back once again at the main foyer of One Canada Square from January 11th 2021.
It’s lovely to have good news to share and we are so pleased to announce that we are now representing food and drinks photographer Steven Joyce. South London based Steve creates modern yet atmospheric stills and moving images, out of his light and airy kitchen lifestyle studio. His work has been exhibited nationally and Steve shoots for editorial, advertising, design agencies and restaurants on a regular basis. Congratulations to Tom Parker for winning the “InterContinental Food at the Table” at The Pink Lady Food Photography Awards last week – one of our favourite nights of the year (thanks to Tattinger and the fab Caroline Kenyon). It was great to see Tom’s work up on the wall, and we’re looking forward to next years competition already!
The Lucid team have been happily collecting a number of awards to go on the office mantlepiece over the last month. David Boni won a ‘Roses Award’ for his Smooth Glasgow portrait project shot for Whyte and Mackay, and both Tom Parker and Susan Bell were winners in the Pink Lady food photography awards. Tom Parker won first prize in the Politics of Food category and Susan was second in the Food of the World category. Today we drew back the curtain to unveil Con Poulos as this month’s artist in #InLucidsWindow. Opting for a refreshing Ice Lolly and a Pina Colada image, we hope it puts all our visitors and neighbours in the mood for Summer.
