Hailing from Tokyo, avid traveller and cooking enthusiast Yuki is a London-based food and lifestyle photographer shooting fresh and contemporary imagery for a host of editorial and advertising clients, including John Lewis, Waitrose, The White Company, Hakkasan Group & Conde Nast Traveller.
We’re loving the rich colours of this fabulous beetroot feature shot by Susan Bell for the latest issue of Waitrose Food. Susan spent time on a beetroot farm photographing the growing crops and then almost a year later we went into the studio to shoot the recipes. It’s such a treat to shoot an ingredient from the ground to plate – we hope you enjoy the images as much as we did photographing them.

We’ve been happily collecting a clutch of awards to go on the office mantlepiece over the last month – David Boni won a Roses award for his Smooth Glasgow portrait project for Whyte and Mackay (exhibition picture) and both Tom Parker and Susan Bell were winners in the Pink Lady food photography awards. Tom Parker won first prize in the Politics of Food category and Susan was second in the Food of the World category. We’re very proud of all our talented photographers and look forward to more wins in the future – no pressure!
We really needed our Christmas break this year as we finished off 2016 with a 3 days shoot for a new beauty client with Susan Bell and started 2017 with a 4 day shoot for David Boni with another new – this time pharmaceutical – client. It’s only halfway through the month and we’ve already been out and about with the portfolios and treats for hungry browsers and had a creative PPM at the top of an unfinished skyscraper with Mowie Kay. So all in all 2017 really started with a bang for us – and we hope it has for you too.

We had a very happy, champagne fuelled, night out (thank you Tattinger and Pink Lady) at the Food Photography Awards last night . It’s always a lovely chance to see many of our favourite clients in one place, and to look at some amazing food photography on the walls. But last night, we had even more to reason to enjoy it as our very own Susan Bell won first prize in the Production Paradise Food off the Press category (https://www.pinkladyfoodphotographeroftheyear.com/finalists-gallery-2016/ ) To say that Susan was surprised to win would be an understatement – but she rallied round and we helped her to celebrate late into the evening. Congratulations Susan on a fabulous win!

For a man of simple tastes when it comes to food over the last few years Mark Harrison has a spent a lot of time with Michelin starred chefs. This fantastic shoot for Stylist Magazine starred the leading female chefs worldwide.
