David Boni Charity Projects
David Boni has always been delighted to work with charities on projects he believes in, and this Autumn David had two high-profile campaigns using his photography.
Firstly the Fighting Knife Crime campaign, shot with TBWA Manchester to highlight how the cuts in youth services have led to an increase in knife crime, using a statistical graphic across a knife scar on a teen’s face. The second was for the Dignity in Dying Campaign – which has just won a historic campaign to have the Assisted Dying Bill progress to the committee stage – one step closer to being enshrined in law for the first time. David’s photographic brief was to celebrate the joy in life and how that was a key element of the ‘My Dying Wish’ of the photoshoot participants – all people with terminal illnesses.
