What a difference a year makes…

On our way back from a meeting with a new client last week, Mowie reminded us that it has been a whole year since we started to represent him.  How time flies when you’re having fun! Apart from being a delightful person, he is also a rather talented food photographer and we’ve loved introducing him to new clients…from big brands including M&S, Caffe Nero and Harrods to Borough Market superstar scotch egg purveyors Scotchtails. So here is a reminder of some of Mowie’s shoots over the last year and we can’t wait for the next year of working together! If you still want to see even more of his work you can follow him on instagram and twitter as well as on our website.Scotchtails Slicing copy Mowie_Kay_M&S_Week3_1932_SalmonCooked Mowie_Kay_M&S_Week3_1658_Truffles Mowie_Kay_M&S_Week3_1474_FlourEggsSugar Caffe_Nero_Takeaway Latte_0179 Harrods-Burrata-Opener-Option-1

New Look Website

With all this sunny weather upon us we decided to give the website a fresh lick of paint and brighten it up a bit. So now when you click on a photographers name you’ll go to a speedy thumbnail page and be able to feast your eyes on their entire online portfolio. And all the work is now shown on a summery white background.

Have a look at Con Poulos’ page, it’s packed full of brand new work. It’s fit to make your stomach rumble!

Pink Lady Food Photography Awards 2013

Now it’s all over we can finally show you Anders Schonnemann’s shot of tea pickers that was a finalist in the food in the field category for the Pink Lady Competition 2013…Any excuse to drink Tattinger champagne and look at gorgeous food photography and catch up with our peers is always going to be a delightful evening – and we weren’t disappointed.

Both Con Poulos and Anders Schonnemann had a number of commended images in the competition this year.  Last year Con was a finalist, but this year, as one of the finalists,  it was Anders’s tea pickers shot that was hung on the wall for us all to admire.

It was a tough competition and alas Anders didn’t win this time. However we were delighted to cheer on our near neighbour in SE1-  and all round nice chap Jonathan Gregson as he won not one, but two, prizes in the food portrait category.

Congratulations to all the winners and commended photographers – and we’re looking forward to going again next year…

and coming home with an award next time (third time lucky).
