On our way back from a meeting with a new client last week, Mowie reminded us that it has been a whole year since we started to represent him. How time flies when you’re having fun! Apart from being a delightful person, he is also a rather talented food photographer and we’ve loved introducing him to new clients…from big brands including M&S, Caffe Nero and Harrods to Borough Market superstar scotch egg purveyors Scotchtails. So here is a reminder of some of Mowie’s shoots over the last year and we can’t wait for the next year of working together! If you still want to see even more of his work you can follow him on instagram and twitter as well as on our website.
Purveyors of the yummiest scotch eggs in London, Scotchtails recently teamed up with our Mowie Kay to create these delicious images for their new website.
With a menu that includes marmite & parmesan, black pudding and sweet chilli pork no doubt we’ll see you in the queue for their Borough Market stall soon.

Working with the creatives at True Digital, our Alistair spent a glorious pie and pint filled five days with staff at Fullers. Here are just a few of the shots from the campaign.
It’s been a busy summer for Mowie Kay with editorial and commercial commissions a plenty.
So whilst we wait for all the projects to go to live here’s a look at a few shots from one Mowie’s latest stories for Harrods Magazine, ‘Burratta’.
Last month Mark Harrison added to his great collection of The Times Magazine covers; on this occasion working with the ever lovely Mr Jamie Oliver to promote his new show Comfort Food.
With a nod to the classic Charlie Chaplin bread roll sketch, Mark has created another stunning studio portrait, bringing a smile to the faces of the whole Lucid team.
Mark Harrison is embarking on a new project, ‘111’.
Over the coming months at the end of Marks shoots you may well see him start to pack away all but one of his lights.
Done in 1 minute with 1 lens & 1 light Mark has started to produce a series of beautifully candid shots. The series starts with the ever lovely Caitlin Moran.
You may well have seen the media coverage of the recent, and rather, incredible Amnesty International Freedom Candle auction. But did you know that our very own Robyn Vickers shot all the stills?
The campaign raised over £10,000 by auctioning 30 ltd edition candles all who burn down to reveal bronze figures, each representing a positive human story. You can find out more on the site here <==
Con Poulos has shot these gorgeous ads for Waitrose, Con’s warm photography style makes the most of these comforting recipes, celebrating the best in autumnal British produce. So why don’t you get inspired, wrap up warm, and settle down with some delicious rib-sticking food.
While we we’ve all been sweltering away in the heat – Anders has been shooting the first Christmas shoot of the year – for one of our lovely regular clients – The White Company. So when it’s 32 degrees outside but you need that wintery feel, it’s time to bring in the pros – and create a little fake snow…as this behind the scenes shot shows. You’ll have to wait until it really is a bit colder to see the full shoot in the Christmas catalogue.
